Bidi optical modules feature a single optical port. When deploying in pairs, each Bidi module set separates into Type A and Type B configurations. For instance:
Type A: transmission wavelength 1310nm, reception wavelength 1490nm
Type B: transmission wavelength 1490nm, reception wavelength 1310nm
Deploy Type A at one terminus and Type B at the opposite terminus

During periods of non-operation, please insert protective dust caps into the optical module's ports to prevent optical power degradation resulting from port contamination that could compromise transmission quality.
Monitor actual fiber cable length during deployment, ensuring the actual received optical power remains below the module's saturation optical power threshold, as exceeding this limit may result in optical module damage.
When choosing optical modules for practical network applications, users must calculate the actual transmission optical power, transmission attenuation, transfer losses, and the optical module's reception sensitivity parameters.
